Die diesjährige Absolventenfeier der Fakultät für Elektrotechnik, Informatik und Mathematik, die am 10.07.2020 an der Universität Paderborn stattfinden sollte, fällt aus. Damit reagiert die Fakultät auf aktuelle Empfehlungen des Landes NRW und des Bundes. Der Schutz der Gesundheit von Absolventen, Referenten, Mitarbeitenden und Gästen habe oberste Priorität.
„Wir hoffen, spätestens im nächsten Jahr unsere Absolvent*innen wie gewohnt verabschieden zu können“, so Dr. Markus Holt, Geschäftsführer der Fakultät und Leiter des Organisationsteams.
Für die diesjährigen Ehrungen, die normalerweise bei der Feierlichkeit ihren Platz finden, wird das Organisationsteam eine kreative Lösung finden.

Graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematics is cancelled this year
This year's graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mathematics which was to take place on 10.07.2020 at the University of Paderborn, is cancelled. This is the faculty's reaction to current recommendations of the state of NRW and the federal government. The protection of the health of graduates, lecturers, employees and guests has top priority.
"We hope to be able to bid our graduates farewell as usual next year at the latest," says Dr. Markus Holt, Managing Director of the Faculty and head of the organisation team.
The organisation team will find a creative solution for this year's honours, which usually find their place at the ceremony.
