the Dean's Of­fice

The Dean's Office manages the Faculty and is responsible for all cross-faculty tasks, such as the coordination of research and teaching, and the administration of the Faculty. It prepares and implements the resolutions of the Faculty Board. It is also the contact for the Presidential Board and the university committees. Within the framework of the budget, it decides on the utilisation of the faculty budget.

The Dean's Office consists of the Dean, the Vice-Deans for the individual subject areas as well as the Dean of Research and the Dean of Studies. The Vice-Deans are also the heads of the respective institutes.
