Ar­ti­fi­cial in­tel­li­gence in the classroom: prac­tic­al day for teach­ers

On Tuesday, 18 March, the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum will host a practical day on the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) in schools, organised by Paderborn University and the Detmold district government. From 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m., teachers from all types of schools and university staff will be able to learn about specific exemplary lesson series and suggestions for teaching computer science at the trial level or in compulsory elective level II in various workshops and presentations. In addition, there will be offers for teaching at upper secondary level. The day will begin with a short, overview lecture by Dr Philipp Terhörst, head of the research group "Responsible AI for Biometrics" at the Institute of Computer Science at Paderborn University.
