The Department of Technology Didactics is delighted to have been awarded funding in the "Vocational School Digi-Teams" program, which was launched by the Stifterverband and the Mercedes-Benz Fund. The aim of the funding program is to prepare prospective vocational school teachers for the professional and didactically meaningful use of digital media and to specifically promote digital skills during teacher training. The specific aim of our "LehrKraft voraus!" project is to integrate the latest AI tools into teacher training. To this end, industrial-technical student teachers from the vocational fields of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering are developing specific teaching projects with the addition of AI, which are planned and implemented on site as part of a seminar in the Master's degree course in close cooperation with the Lippe Berufskolleg in Lippstadt.
