On 01.09.2022 Prof. Dr.-Ing Christoph Scheytt and Mrs. Eva Sprenger signed a cooperation agreement between the Paderborn University and the Gymnasium Schloss Neuhaus.

What initially started as a pilot project and gave the students of the GSN the opportunity to complete an interdisciplinary internship on the topic of "resource-saving mobility" will now be consolidated. During the internship, the students participate in selected events of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The aim of this internship is to provide particularly interested and motivated students with initial scientific knowledge and to introduce them to the topic of resource-efficient mobility.

"With this project, we hope to establish closer contact with students who are already interested in the topics of electrical and mechanical engineering," says Christoph Scheytt, head of the Institute of Electrical Engineering. He and his colleagues are particularly looking forward to meeting the students at the institute's events, and he is sure that they will be able to further arouse their enthusiasm for the subject. The long-term nature of the project, which has now been agreed upon, is an important point for a lively cooperation, because it is only through lasting contact that the students have the motivation to stay with the topic and strive for their own developments.
