Dr. Alexander May is an academic staff member in the research group of Professor Blömer at the Department of Computer Science. He receives the Weierstraß-Prize 2004 for his excellent achievements in mentoring tutorials and lectures. Those were “Kryptography I und II” during winter semester 2003/04 and “Datenstrukturen und Algorithmen” during summer semester 2004.
- Alex May is a great tutor, without him I would fail.
- Alex May deserves the prize! He is the best group instructor of all tutorials I have visited the past 9 months. Especially because, within 5 minutes he could explain to me what I couldn´t understand during the whole mathematics seminar.
- Blömer is really good, and Alex is better.
- Alex should receive the prize.
