Prof. Marco Platzner manages the work group “Technische Informatik” at the Department of Computer Science. The group is concerned with current questions of Hardware/Software interfaces of computer systems. He received the award for following subjects:

• Basis of Computer Engineering
• Basis of Computer Architecture
• Hardware/Software Codesign
• Reconfigurable Computing

Miriam Kraft studies mathematics (Diploma), English and French (lectureship).

She received the Weierstraß-Prize 2008 for the tutorials “Mathematik für Informatiker I” and “Mathematik für Informatiker II”.
